after Brain Injury

課程摘要

    本課程會討論神經性認知語言障礙常見的臨床表現以及對病患的日常生活溝通能力的影響 。除此之外，也會討論常用的標準型認知語言測驗，非標準型認知語言測驗，以及臨床治療計畫擬定與方針。

   This presentation is for the speech-language pathologists to develop the knowledge of distinctive characteristics of cognitive-communication disorders associated with brain injury and discuss assessment/management approaches and clinical decision-making.

課程目標

在完成本課程後，學員可以

(1)判斷與解釋神經性認知語言障礙常見的臨床表現

(2)選擇適合的臨床認知語言測驗

(3)針對神經性認知語言障礙擬定適合的臨床治療計劃

Upon the completion of this workshop, the participant will be able to

● Identify and describe the common characteristics of cognitive-communication disorders (CCDs)   after brain injury

● Generate a comprehensive assessment plan targeting cognitive and communication functions Develop individualized

   treatment plans for individuals with cognitive communication disorders

九、講師簡介：

    洪珮芳博士擁有美國ASHA臨床語言治療師認證 (CCC-SLP)，美國加州語言治療師執照，以及台灣語言治療師執照。 1999年考試院公務人員高等考試三級考試公職語言治療師及格，曾任台大醫院復健部語言治療師（1999-2002）。

學歷：中山醫學大學復健系語言治療組畢業（1999），美國奧勒岡大學溝通障礙學碩士（2004），美國奧勒岡大學溝通障礙學博士（2010）。

現任美國加州州立大學長灘分校語言病理學系助理教授。她的研究領域包括腦傷後認知語言障礙，失語症評估與治療，失智症相關的語言能力退化。她的教學學科包括成人語言障礙，運動性言語障礙，吞嚥障礙，創傷型腦傷及其相關認知溝通障礙復健。她同時也在美國加州州立大學長灘分校語言病理學系的校內實習診所擔任臨床指導老師以及指導學生校外醫院實習 。

Pei-Fang Hung, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech- Language Pathology at the California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who holds certificates and licenses in both the United States and Taiwan. She earned her B.S. in Communication Disorders from Chung Shan Medical University and both her M.S. and Ph.D. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon.

Her research interests are acquired cognitive-communication disorders following traumatic brain injury, aphasia assessment and treatment, and language deterioration related to aging and dementia. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in adult language disorders, motor speech disorders, swallow disorders, and traumatic brain injury and related cognitive-communication rehabilitation, supervises the adult speech-language clinics at the CSULB, and coordinates students’ medical internships.
